WELCOME TO OUR CUBS PAGE

Cub Scouts are young people both girls and boys usually aged between 8 & 10 1/2 years old. They belong to the second section in the Scouting movement. Between the age of 10 and 11 years old Cub Scouts can move on to the next section in the Scouting movement which is Scouts.

Cub Scouts are easily recognised by their distinctive dark green sweatshirt, Cub Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, visits and camping. They usually meet together once a week in Cub Scout packs.

About our Pack

We are part of 4th Willenhall Scout Group and enjoy many activities including handicrafts, games, visits and camping. We also like to join up with other Cub Scout packs in our district for Challenges, trips and action packed camps. In our Pack at the moment we currently have 8 Cub Scouts. So far this year our Cubs have won the district 6X6 challenge for the second time and been on the annual district camp.

Our Pack meets once a week at our group HQ.

For More Information about our pack telephone us on the number at the bottom of this page or email the leader using the Cub email address on the contact us page of our website.

Cub Scout Activity & Staged Badges

Activity Badges

Activity Badges in the Cub section provide an opportunity to reward a young person who has taken part in an activity over a period of time. They should raise interest and extend a young person’s skills throughout their time in the Cub section. There are 35 activity badges which range from Camping to Scientist and 6 staged badges which are gained throughout all the sections in the Scout movement. These badges range from Emergency aid to Swimmer and progress in stages according to the ability of the individual person.

Uniform for Cub Scouts

The uniform for Cub Scouts is a dark green jumper, Red with black boarder scarf (Necker) and a Leather Scout woggle.  The Scout group supply the Scarf and the woggle when they are invested in to the Pack.  There are also extras to the uniform which are not essential, but you may wish to purchase. The extras are: dark green Polo shirt, navy blue activity trousers, navy blue activity shorts and a Cub Scout baseball cap.
